My sister came into town this past week and we had a lot of fun!
I already posted the picture of the whole family in the masks, here is little Naomi trying hers on.
All the little cousins love Christian...
We took the kids to one of our favorite places..the Drive In Movie Theater. We saw the Hannah Montana movie...and I thought I would just be enduring it, but I ended up liking it. It was clean and had a good message....I could get over the fact that she has a nasaly raspy voice that is normally irritating. 
The second movie was Race to Witch Mountain, the little ones were asleep within the first 20 minutes (mostly because it was already 10 pm).
The girls got their first highlights..I did them very natural! The rest of the pictures were after the highlights.
It was a beautiful day for the park!She is fun size!
Grandma and all of her little rugrats...so hard to get a picture where everyone is looking and not making a silly face. This was the best (Nathan was picking his nose in all of them!)

The boys found these while playing in the water.
This was a last minute idea so we didnt have the kids in matching clothes. The kids were playing outside and we only had a few minutes left of good light so we "made them" sit still for a few minutes to get some blue bonnet pictures!

I had some frosting and fondant left over from a few cupcake orders recently so we let the kids decorate their own cupcakes! The did a great job!
I'm so glad that you had fun with your sister and her kids! I know it must be tough to live far apart. How great for you guys to take advantage of every minute that you have together!

i know christian won't care about this comment but i think he's a GREAT guy with a HUGE heart. he is so nice to all the little cousins when they are around - playing with them & letting them jump all over him. i think that speaks LOUDLY about what kind of guy he really is, even if his hair is always messed up because he is too lazy to fix it. hahaHAHA

a. We got the masks from the WWE (wrestling) when they came through Dallas, they sell them in Mexico and had a huge box of em. They told us to take some home to the kids..they have been a huge hit at school and home!
ReplyDeleteb. the kids did go to school..we did keep them home one day and then went up to the school and ate with them another day.
c. I wouldn't consider myself a "fan" of Miley...(dont worry Chad!!HA) but my sister and I were singing this song constantly after we watched the movie and it grew on me ;)
d. thank you for such a huge compliment about Christian...he may act like he doesnt care about you saying that (although he will probably get a little embarrassed and smile!) but I know it is always nice to have positive feedback as a teenager and it really does mean a lot to him....and me :) I am sooooo thankful that he has family like you and Chad...he really respects and admires you guys and what an awesome example he has in you two.
Update...just read your comment to Christian....he smiled and said "Awwwww...I am gonna go text her!"
