Mr Edward Tulane

Yesterday, as he was cutting the grass,  Michael was able to catch a little baby bunny in the front yard! He kept it and when the kids and I got home we got to hold it for a few hours. Trinity was in love with the bunny, she named him Edward Tulane after a character in a book that she is reading. We fed him carrots and lettuce and gave him water. He was very friendly and curious but we decided to let him go back to his mommy when the sun went down (we waited until evening to protect him from our dogs). We brought him back to the place where we found him and let him go. He hopped a few times, stopped and looked at us and then hopped into a safe hiding place. Oh, the stories he will have to tell his family!

  1. That was so much cooler then catching a snake or a rat! Haha! I'm proud of Trinity for being willing to set it free. She really wanted to keep it, but thought it would be better if it was with its family. Bye Edward Tulane, you will be missed.
