Birthday Party!

Grammy picked Trinity up Saturday morning to take her to get manicures/pedicures and then go to lunch! Trinity LOVES doing girly things, especially with Grammy :)

While she was gone, we all decorated! We recently saw the new Alice in Wonderland movie (loved it!) and wanted to do a tea party theme.
The invitations were sent out...

We painted the roses red...
and set up for the tea party..
When the girls came, they enjoyed the beautiful day outside.

And then when everyone arrived, we set the table for the party!
Christian and Michael were in charge of games...
In this one, they had to move an oreo from their forehead to their mouth without using their hands...
This game involved shaking ping pong balls out of a kleenex box on their backs...
And this one involved banging your head for a minute to see who got the most "steps" on the pedometer attached to their foreheads..
Here is Christian explaining the next game..in which they had to use just enough vaseline to attach a cotton ball to their nose and transfer as many as possible to another bowl in 60 seconds.
SInce the following day was Mothers Day, the girls painted butterfly wind chimes for their wonderful Moms :)
The girls got in a dancing, giggly kind of mood so we turned on the Wii and played the "Just Dance" game. We have had so much fun with that game, and it is a good workout!
They even got Christian to join in!
We finally wore them out and they settled in on air mattress in the living room and watched Alice In Wonderland! A few of the girls hand't seen it yet and we think everyone should see it! This picture was actually taken the next morning as they watched it again...
Our breakfast chef (with a pink bow courtesy of some sweet little girls Lol)
Hanging out....
Cute little bedheads...
We ate breakfast, got dressed and all headed off to church....
We sent the girls home with these gift boxes full of candy and jewelry

and a little vile of Jabberwocky blood to take them home....
What a fun weekend with some of the sweetest little girls :) Happy Birthday Trinity! Thanks for letting me do a party for you!

  2. Looks like they had fun! It's funny, because I'm having a "Mad Tea Party" for my birthday this year, too.
