Day With an Angel

Yesterday, I had the privilege of keeping my little niece, Naomi. She will be one next month and is such an easy going, sweet, sweet baby! It is very rare that I get to spend alone time with her though. Well, actually Michael was there for part of the time. That was very cute because he loves babies and for the most part, they love him! She was no exception. She followed him around and whimpered when he left the room. Loving that, he would come back and take her along! 

We played and played and then when Michael left, we fell asleep together on the sofa. Now, this past weekend was very long and involved very little sleep (work, work, work!) so I cannot even tell you how refreshing a mid-day nap with a little angel was! Well, I woke up shortly after and she continued to sleep so I got to read about 6 chapters in my book! What a perfect day. I love, love , love being an aunt! Just wish they all lived next door...
