Good Friends+Good Music=Good Times!

Well, its Sherri again. The rest of the family doesn't seem to be on board yet! In their defense, we have been busy this weekend!
On Saturday, Michael and I got to do something that we hardly ever get to do. GO to a concert! Not WORK at a concert, but go to one and sit in seats and enjoy it! It is always a little strange for us to be on that side of a concert and not be running around and counting money. There are only a few bands that we would skip getting paid and actually PAY to go see. Counting Crows is one of them! We have loved this band for 15 years and have only seen them live 3 times but every time it is awesome! We went with Monika and Lance, same as two years ago. They share our love for this band so we have been excited for months! We have decided that even when we are 50, we will get dressed up and go see the Counting Crows! Of course, that would make the band even older and who knows if they will still play! But if you haven't been to a live show recently, any live show, you should most definitely go. I had forgotten how much fun it can be!
So here are some pictures......

This first band is Augustana. They are amazing, love them.

And then next was Maroon 5.....they are pretty good. The guys did their T shirt shopping during this band though if that tells you anything. Ha

And lastly, Counting Crows!
They even did a song with Augustana at the end.

  3. I remember when Jason and I had just gotten married and we had a Counting Crows CD and Lance wanted to listen to it so badly (or maybe borrow it? I can't remember) but we wouldn't let him because it was "secular music" and we were not going to send him back home after visiting us and get in trouble with mom and dad.

Ah, the good old days. :)
